Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Canada, is a famous rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and businessman. He first gained fame as Jimmy Brooks on the TV show “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”
His debut album, “Thank Me Later” (2010), topped the US Billboard 200. He has since released several successful albums like “Take Care,” “Nothing Was the Same,” and “Scorpion.” Drake has won many awards including four Grammys, six American Music Awards, and 27 Billboard Music Awards. He has collaborated with artists like Rihanna, Future, and Travis Scott. Drake also owns a record label (OVO Sound), and a clothing line, and has a partnership with the Toronto Raptors NBA team. He is one of the most popular and influential musicians of his generation.
